Oppo has launched the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro smartphones in China. The devices feature high-resolution OLED displays, powerful MediaTek processors, and advanced camera systems. Both models run Android 15-based ColorOS 16 software.

The standard Reno 16 includes a 6.32-inch flat display with a resolution of 2640 by 1216 pixels. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER chipset and houses a 6,700mAh battery. The device supports up to 80W wired charging but lacks wireless charging capabilities.

The Reno 16 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch panel with a resolution of 2772 by 1272 pixels. It utilizes the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor and includes a 7,000mAh battery. The Pro model adds 50W wireless charging support and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
Both smartphones share an identical camera array with a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The front-facing camera offers 50 megapixels with autofocus on both devices. Oppo has not yet confirmed the software upgrade policy for these China variants.
The Reno 16 starts at CNY 3,499 (~$513) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and reaches CNY 4,899 (~$719) for the 16GB + 1TB version. The Pro model begins at CNY 3,699 (~$543) for the base configuration and costs CNY 4,799 (~$704) for the top-tier storage option. Oppo expects to introduce these phones in global markets during June or July.
