Swedish pension fund legal action regarding executive misconduct claims concludes in Delaware court
The legal action originated from Swedish pension fund Sjunde AP-Fonden, also known as AP7. The fund accused former Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick of rushing the sale to divert attention from sexual misconduct scandals that emerged in late 2021.
Microsoft issued a statement defending its position and the integrity of the acquisition process. The company asserted that no court or independent investigation found evidence of systemic harassment at Activision Blizzard. Microsoft further stated that executives did not ignore, condone, or tolerate such behavior within the organization.
