Square Enix is preparing to release the Senor Otter Pack for Final Fantasy XIV through its official Make It Rain Campaign 2026 event. The campaign runs from Friday May 29 at 1am PT until Wednesday June 24 at 8am PT across global time zones. This return follows a previous distribution error that occurred during patch 7.5.

Patch 7.5 mistakenly gave the Senor Otter Pack to players who already owned the Black Embroidered Parasol due to shared internal item IDs. A hotfix removed the incorrectly distributed items from those accounts. The upcoming campaign will officially release both the pack and a matching Senor Otter minion for direct acquisition.
Gold Saucer Points receive a 50% boost during the Make It Rain festivities. Creative Studio 3 stated that players should acquire the Senor Otter Pack again through this intended method when it becomes available. Developer Yoshida previously teased additional multiplayer content for the Gold Saucer as part of patch 7.56.
More Gold Saucer multiplayer content may arrive during the Make It Rain festivities or alongside patch 7.56 updates. Yoshida hinted at these developments during Live Letter 91 but kept exact details and timing confidential. The studio has not confirmed whether this extra content will appear within the campaign window.
