CONSOLES

In this update, Sony has revealed the monthly games for PS Plus, namely the PlayStation Plus games for November 2026. With this, three new games have been introduced that PlayStation Plus members can enjoy. This is important as it introduces new action and strategy games to the list of games offered on PlayStation Plus, which is exciting as there are more games for Essential, Extra, and Premium members to enjoy. This is interesting to buyers as it means that these games will be available for them to claim from November 3, 2026, and they can keep the games while they continue their subscription.

Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered, and Monster Train 2 join the service November 3

For November 2026, some of the games added are Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered and Monster Train 2. Both Dead Island 2 and Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered are supported on both PS5 and PS4. Monster Train 2 is only supported on the PS5. These games are in addition to the other games available for free to play on PlayStation Plus.

Users have up until November 30, 2026, to claim the games for November 2026. After claiming them, users can keep these games in their game library, even if their subscription expires. This is applicable for all the three subscription tiers but may differ according to the subscription tier level. So, users have until November 30, 2026, to claim all the games for November.

In the last update for October 2026, two new games were added to PS Plus, namely F1 25 and Hunt: Showdown 1896. For this last PS Plus update, we shared some insights into the pattern observed with game selection. In this update for November 2026, this is also observed as a pattern since new games are added every month. It is important for users who have subscribed to the service to look out for it before the month's end so they can grab these games.

Dead Island 2 is already on Extra so that feels redundant for Premium. Is Monster Train 2 going to get a patch soon or is it stuck at launch performance?

No patch notes yet for Monster Train 2. It is PS5 only so you might need the console to play it. Dead Island 2 is a solid addition regardless.

I am happy about the Tomb Raider remaster. Those early games defined my gaming childhood. I hope the controls hold up.

ps5 only for monster train 2 is a weird choice tbh

Sony is just recycling catalog titles again. Dead Island 2 was free last year. Tomb Raider is old news. Nothing new here.

It is not just recycling though. Monster Train 2 is a new release. That is actual new content for the library. I will claim it before the 30th.

monster train 2 is my pick

I need to check if the subscription price changed in my region for November. The games look decent but the value depends on the local tax rate.
