After more than a decade, the boxing community will finally be pleased to hear that they'll be getting back in the Fight Night ring. Electronic Arts has finally confirmed a new entry in the Fight Night series. This is huge news especially after all these years of focused development on mixed martial arts.

Electronic Arts revives boxing series with mature tone after UFC focus
The fact that EA is coming out with a new Fight Night is huge because it brings the dedicated boxing simulator back to the forefront. You get something that you can't quite get in the UFC games. It's something completely different. If you're a gamer that likes the more detailed, technical aspects of boxing as opposed to MMA, then there's something new you can look forward to.
EA Sports Fight Night is now up and active on social media in the form of a new account on X (formerly Twitter). One word was all they needed to let us know that they're bringing it back. "The Fight Is Never Over." By just using one simple phrase, it's all about branding in the most basic terms. EA is using their new social media account to let fans know that they're back, before they start talking about what's going to be in the game.
This is a new reboot to the classic boxing series. It's not just a new game to add to the UFC simulation series. It's been more than a decade since the last mainline game in the series.
The last one was Fight Night Champion, which came out in 2011. The new game is going for a grittier look compared to what we've seen before in the series. This tells us that they might be going after a more mature crowd with a darker narrative.
EA had switched their combat sports game development over to UFC simulations but that's all changing now. Bringing back the Fight Night name is telling that they're hearing the call for a dedicated boxing simulator. The new game is going to bring in a ton of fans who were more into the previous games because of the style and how they played. EA is definitely making a name for themselves again when it comes to having their own dedicated boxing game after being out of it for 15 years.
