With modder danielblnc's release of DLSS-NR 0.8.0 on AMD, NVIDIA advanced rendering techniques are now available for Radeon hardware. This release is significant because it opens up access to previously GeForce-only features for RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 GPU users. This means that AMD hardware users can try out improved ray tracing fidelity or frame generation without hardware changes.

Modder danielblnc ports NVIDIA rendering tech to AMD RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 GPUs
This mod brings NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, Multi Frame Generation 4X, Ray Reconstruction, and DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering to AMD GPUs. This is possible thanks to AMD-specific HIP kernels being used to bridge the software gap. For this to work, the game needs native DLSS/FSR/XeSS integration and NVIDIA DLSS files supplied by the user.
- Mod Version: 0.8.0
- Supported GPU Architectures: Radeon RX 7000 (RDNA 3) and Radeon RX 9000 (RDNA 4)
- Included Technologies: DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, Frame Generation (Multi Frame Generation 4X), Ray Reconstruction, DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering
- Technical Implementation: AMD-specific HIP kernels
In Cyberpunk 2077, we saw no FPS difference with DLSS Ray Reconstruction & Super Resolution enabled (Performance preset). Ray Reconstruction gives much more detailed ray-traced reflections and lighting effects over conventional denoisers. The technical advancements of this mod seek to improve the visual fidelity while keeping up with frame rates on supported AMD architectures.
DLSS-NR on AMD is still an experimental, unofficial mod that's in active development. Games will have different levels of support, compatibility, performance, and image fidelity. Expect instability. (We previously covered NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 and Multi-Frame Generation, and kept tabs on Danielblnc releases. This mod exists on its own for local AMD hardware usage).
This release provides more rendering options for PC gamers by enabling NVIDIA features on AMD hardware. Now, users can try out advanced upscaling and frame generation on AMD RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 GPUs. This mod enables access to advanced graphics features on supported AMD graphics cards.
