NightCoop is a new mod for Cyberpunk 2077 that allows two players to experience the full campaign together, with synced quests, NPCs, and dialogue choices.

NightCoop lets Cyberpunk 2077 players play through the story together at last. A new community mod offers multiplayer support for the story mode, so two people can get through the narrative together. No more "no single player" limitation from the game's launch. This is important because it opens up a new way for players to enjoy the dystopian Night City together with someone else.

NightCoop is essentially a multiplayer extension for the single-player experience. The host player's save game will control the status of quests, NPCs, and the world of Night City. Both players will enter the world as individual versions of V with their own gear and cyberware enhancements.

There's cross-player synchronization for enemies and NPCs so the game experience is consistent. Players will have to vote on the dialog options, and the majority opinion will be what both people see. This requires players to work together for narrative moments that are normally a single-player decision.

There's a separate PvP mode with damage, Sandevistan powers, and a down/revive system. This is a competitive aspect outside the main story mode co-op mode. There's no official launch date or ETA yet for the public release of the mod.
