Pugstorm released a stability patch for Core Keeper on October 7 to address lingering issues from the major update last month. This update matters because it fixes crashes and network problems that disrupt the multiplayer experience for players who recently upgraded. The developer pushed version 1.3.0.5 to all platforms, ensuring a consistent baseline for the community.

Pugstorm releases update 1.43 to resolve multiplayer data issues
The patch introduces specific technical adjustments to the game's engine and modding tools. On consoles, the update appears as version 1.43 | 1.000.046, which aligns with the PC release. This dual-version naming ensures players on different hardware can track the correct build.
Key fixes target stability and modding functionality. The ModSDK editor now displays proper water colors and generates tile previews, with a new toggle to hide placeable objects. The team resolved mod loading errors involving object ID conflicts and invalid tilesetType values, which previously prevented mods from launching correctly.
Bug fixes also address gameplay crashes and network limits. Players will no longer experience crashes when switching equipment with the Hookshot or triggering explosions with Void-Fused armor. The patch reverts a network data limit introduced in version 1.3.0.3, restoring the original data transfer behavior for multiplayer sessions.
