The KCD:MP multiplayer mod for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 reached version V0.35.0 this week, bringing significant quality-of-life improvements to the community-driven experience. Players who enjoy cooperative medieval role-playing now benefit from tighter combat synchronization and more robust server management tools. This update stabilizes the multiplayer environment, making group play more reliable for those who prefer custom game modes over the base title.

Mod update improves combat sync, dialogue, and server tools

Warhorse Studios created the original single-player RPG, but the KCD:MP team has expanded its scope by integrating features that mirror the main game's design. The mod now supports game-native dialogue systems, allowing players to engage in conversations with up to eight distinct answer choices. This change aligns the multiplayer narrative experience closer to the official release, giving users more agency in how they interact with the world and other players.

Combat mechanics received the most substantial overhaul in this release, with improved timing for guards, blocks, parries, and counter-attacks. The modding team refined the synchronization so that players can clearly see these actions happen at the correct moment, reducing confusion during fights. Player animations also expanded to include sitting, lying down, climbing ladders, vaulting, opening doors, picking herbs, digging, butchering animals, and petting horses.

Server administrators gain new utility with a dedicated status page, enhanced NPC combat logic, and additional admin commands for controlling story areas. The launcher now detects more installations, provides better crash assistance, and allows users to hide the in-game chat. Two new locations, the Malesov gate and the south gate at Trosky Castle, are now open for server use. The update also introduces Cyrillic language support and ASI mod support for broader compatibility.

This release follows the trajectory of earlier community efforts to bring multiplayer functionality to the game. When we covered the last Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 update, several of the same balance and stability themes came up. The current version continues that work by focusing on technical reliability and feature parity with the official game.

The KCD:MP V0.35.0 update is now available for players who have installed the mod. Server owners can utilize the new management tools to host more stable sessions. Players can expect smoother combat and more immersive interactions in their multiplayer adventures.
