Infinix is changing how mobile gamers handle first-person shooters by introducing the GT NX Controller. The device features a large glass touchpad that claims pixel-level precision for aiming. This hardware shift matters because it brings console-style input accuracy to handheld gaming rigs. Players who rely on touch screens for competitive play now have a dedicated tool for finer control.
GT NX Controller introduces glass touchpad for precise aiming
The controller uses an esports-grade three-chip architecture to minimize input lag. Two chips reside in the left handle while one chip powers the right side. Infinix markets this setup as millisecond-level Direct Connect to keep inputs consistent. The company also allows users to adjust haptic feedback across three intensity levels through the XArena app.
Battery life on the GT NX Controller is rated at more than 22 hours of use. Infinix pairs this controller with the GT NX Station, a nine-in-one expansion dock. The dock includes thermoelectric (TEC) cooling to manage device temperatures during extended sessions. It also provides HDMI output, RJ45 Ethernet, two USB-A ports, and two USB-C ports with one supporting PD input.
The GT NX Station adds a USB-C host cable, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity. Pre-orders for the GT NX Controller are already live in Malaysia. This launch expands the available peripheral options for mobile gamers seeking lower latency and better ergonomics.
