Switch players access the maze-like Kowloon Walled City without VR hardware
Developer JETMAN announced the release date for this Switch port. The game serves as a prequel to the original 1997 classic Kowloon’s Gate. It also reimagines the worldview of the 2017 PlayStation VR title Kowloon’s Gate VR: Suzaku.
The game is described as a strolling game set in the Kowloon Walled City. Players wander through maze-like alleys to explore the environment. The objective involves using photos from an album as clues to track down specific locations.
You bring back memories through a mechanic called psychography or thoughtography. Familiar faces appear in these iconic places, rendered in higher definition. JETMAN states that the game allows players to discover what memories will be brought back to life.
