Ninkear has released the MBOX18, a compact desktop computer that brings Intel’s latest 18A manufacturing technology to the mini PC market. This launch matters because it makes the new chip architecture accessible in a small form factor for everyday users. The device targets remote workers and small businesses that need reliable performance without the bulk of a traditional tower.

Compact desktop features Intel 18A Core 3 304 and triple-display output
The MBOX18 uses the Intel Core 3 processor 304 as its central processing unit. This chip is built on the 18A process and contains five cores with five threads. It runs at speeds up to 4.3GHz and includes a 6MB cache. The processor operates with a 15W thermal design power, which helps keep energy use low.
Specifications
- Processor: Intel Core 3 304 (18A, 5-core, 15W)
- Graphics: Integrated Intel Graphics (1 Xe-core)
- Memory: 12GB LPDDR5x (soldered)
- Storage: 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD (expandable)
- Display: Triple-display (4K@120Hz or 8K@60Hz)
Graphics handling relies on integrated Intel Graphics with one Xe-core. This graphics engine reaches clock speeds of up to 2.3GHz. The system also features a dedicated neural processing unit that delivers 15 TOPS of AI acceleration. Intel markets this component as Intel AI Boost for handling machine learning tasks.
Memory consists of 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM that is soldered directly to the motherboard. Storage starts with a 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD, but the chassis includes two M.2 2280 slots for expansion. Users can connect up to three displays simultaneously using two HDMI ports and one USB4 port. The USB4 connection supports data transfer speeds of 40Gbps.

The Mini PC measures 116 x 107 x 36mm and weighs 478 grams. Its internal volume is approximately 0.36 liters, making it highly portable. Connectivity options include three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and a Gigabit Ethernet jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connections. The system ships with Windows 11 pre-installed.
