Samsung is preparing a significant design shift for its next flagship lineup, and the changes will likely affect how users hold and protect their devices. The Galaxy S27 series introduces a clear visual split between the standard models and the Pro and Ultra variants. Buyers should expect a new aesthetic language that moves away from the uniform camera bump design seen in recent years.
Case leaks and certification data show diverging camera layouts for the upcoming Samsung flagship lineup
The lineup consists of four distinct models: the Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra. All four have already appeared in GSMA certification listings under model numbers SM-S952B, SM-S956B, SM-S957B, and SM-S958B. Photos of protective cases shared by tipster Ice Universe confirm these four separate hardware designs. This certification activity suggests Samsung is finalizing the hardware for an imminent launch window.

Under the hood, the entire series is expected to run on 2nm-process chips. Depending on the region, these devices will use either Samsung’s Exynos 2700 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.
Samsung may also introduce the S27 Pro as a new compact flagship option to bridge the gap between the standard and Ultra models. The S27 Pro is expected to feature a display size between 6.4 and 6.6 inches. Additional rumored features include support for Qi2 magnetic wireless charging and the potential use of BOE OLED panels. Leaks do not currently suggest notable improvements in sensor size, except for a potential 4x telephoto lens on the Ultra model.
