Timi Studio developed the game for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. The announcement occurred during the 2026 Pokemon Unite Championship in San Francisco. Zeta Division secured the title by defeating Komai 3-1. The event highlighted the game’s ongoing support despite upcoming changes.
The Pokemon Company is retiring the title from active competition after five years. It remains unclear if another game will replace Unite in the esports lineup. The new characters will still be available for standard play. Fans can expect continued updates until the competitive season ends.
