Pokemon fans who want to document their real-world adventures have a new way to do it. The Pokemon Company International and Polaroid are launching a limited-edition collection to mark the franchise's 30th anniversary. This collaboration brings iconic characters and symbols to instant photography gear, giving collectors a chance to own themed hardware that matches their fandom.

Limited edition cameras and film arrive for the franchise's 30th anniversary

The lineup features three distinct instant cameras. The headline model is the Polaroid Now Generation 3, which sports a design inspired by the classic Poke Ball. Buyers can also choose between two versions of the smaller Polaroid Go Generation 3, featuring Pikachu or Sylveon artwork on the casing.

Pricing for the hardware starts at $139.99 for the larger Now camera. The compact Go models are priced lower at $99.99 each. Polaroid is also releasing themed film packs to match the cameras. The Color i-Type Film Pokemon Edition costs $22.99, while double packs of Go Color Film with character art are $24.99.

The collection extends beyond cameras and film to include practical accessories. Buyers can purchase a Pokemon-themed camera case and a matching photo album for $24.99 each. A compatible camera strap is available for $14.99. These items allow users to protect and carry their new gear in style.

Pre-orders for the entire collection open on August 25, 2026. Customers in the US, UK, and Canada can order through the Pokemon Center website or Polaroid's official site. Mathieu Galante of The Pokemon Company International described the partnership as a natural extension of the brand's values, aiming to help fans turn memories into tangible keepsakes.

We looked at other Pokemon hardware collaborations earlier while tracking seasonal releases. This launch offers a specific way for fans to integrate their hobby into daily life. The collection is available for pre-order starting in late August 2026.
