NerveLabs released The Lantern of the Laughless Saint to Steam Early Access on August 17, giving dark fantasy RPG fans a new title to explore. The game draws clear inspiration from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, aiming to capture that specific era of open-world role-playing. Buyers interested in co-op campaigns or solo exploration can jump in immediately at a discounted launch price.
Dark fantasy RPG enters Early Access with co-op and split-screen support
The game runs on Windows 10 or higher through the Steam platform. It supports solo play, full online co-op, shared and split-screen options, and Steam Remote Play Together. This mix of multiplayer modes allows groups to play together on the same machine or across different devices.
The current build contains over 50 quests, more than 60 enemy types, and over 100 equippable items. NerveLabs plans to update the game every one to two weeks during the Early Access period. The studio intends to keep the game in Early Access for under a year before a full release.
The standard price for the game is $19.99 USD. It is currently discounted to $17.99 USD as part of a launch offer running through August 24. We looked at ZERO Sievert 2 Early Access Launches earlier while tracking Nervelabs launches.
