Leaked pricing for the upcoming OnePlus 16 reveals a return to more accessible memory configurations for the Chinese market. The base model starts at CNY 4,999 (around $739), marking the first time an 8GB RAM option has appeared on a flagship OnePlus device since the OnePlus 11. Including the 8GB RAM option may help the device appeal to a wider range of buyers.

The device will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset and feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 185Hz. OnePlus is pairing this screen with a substantial 9,000mAh battery, which should provide extended usage time for heavy users. The camera system includes a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
