Blizzard is updating Diablo 4 with Season 15, version 3.2.0, bringing back ten iconic items from Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. These Legacy Uniques introduce powerful, distinct playstyles that have not been available in the game for several years. Players who previously missed these builds can now access them, altering character options for the upcoming season.

Ten iconic items return with new seasonal mechanics

The update introduces four Legacy Uniques that any class can equip. These items include Leoric's Crown for helms, Nemesis Bracers for gloves, Stone of Jordan for rings, and Squirt's Blouse for chest armor. Blizzard moved Squirt's Necklace into a chest piece format to fit the current equipment structure while preserving its core effect.

Five additional Legacy Uniques target specific class combinations. Arioc's Needle works as a two-handed polearm for Barbarians, Druids, and Spiritborns. Henri's Perquisition serves as an offhand focus for Sorcerers, Necromancers, and Warlocks. In-Geom functions as a one-handed sword for Barbarians, Druids, Rogues, Necromancers, Paladins, and Warlocks. The Furnace and Messerschmidt's Reaver act as two-handed maces and axes respectively for Barbarians, Druids, Necromancers, Paladins, and Warlocks.

Season 15 adds new gameplay mechanics and quality-of-life features. Challenge Dungeons provide challenging boss fights for dedicated players. Overland Ambush introduces a powerful demon that hunts players as they explore Sanctuary. The Rebirth feature lets players carry characters from the Eternal realm or previous seasons into the new season, resetting them to Level 1.

We looked at Diablo 4's seasonal evolution earlier while tracking Blizzard's update strategy. The season blends nostalgic elements with new challenges, offering veterans a reason to return and newcomers a chance to experience classic gameplay. The Rebirth system allows players to carry characters from previous seasons into the new season, resetting them to Level 1.
