New Vault Hunter and loot pack arrive with Steam Deck performance fixes
The update, labeled version 1.090.001 or Title Update 1.9, brings Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions to the game. It also introduces Loveless the Hacker as a new playable Vault Hunter. Gearbox Software released these changes to expand the game's endgame content and character roster.
Key technical changes include dedicated drop sources for Pearlescent weapons in the Kairos region. The patch fixes several boss fights and improves user interface stability. Gearbox also adjusted Steam Deck Performance Mode to better maintain maximum frame rates during gameplay.
Gearbox Software stated that players with the Super Deluxe Edition get automatic access to all Bounty Packs 2 through 5 and Story Packs 1 and 2. The standard Deluxe Edition includes the Bounty Pack Bundle. Individual packs remain available for separate purchase. Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort is due for release on September 10.
