Konami has published the official PC system requirements for Silent Hill: Townfall, giving players a clear benchmark for their hardware before the launch. This release matters because the game demands significant processing power to run smoothly, and the minimum specs set a high bar for entry-level systems. Buyers with older GPUs may need to upgrade to meet the baseline performance targets.
Konami details hardware demands and shares new gameplay footage
The title is a first-person psychological horror game set in Scotland in 1996. Konami released the requirements alongside 15 minutes of new gameplay footage shared by YouTube user Punish. The footage provides a look at the game's atmosphere and mechanics ahead of the global release.
The minimum configuration requires Windows 11 x64, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K processor, and 16 GB of RAM. Graphics performance at this level relies on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super or an AMD Radeon RX 6600. Players must also reserve 75 GB of available storage space on their drive.
For a better experience, Konami recommends an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel Core i7-9700K processor paired with 32 GB of RAM. The recommended graphics cards are the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT. These specifications enable High settings at 4K resolution with 30 FPS when using DLSS, FSR, or TSR in Balanced mode.
