Xiaomi is preparing to launch three new smartphones in May 2024: the Xiaomi 17 Max, the Xiaomi 17T, and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. The company aims to expand its lineup with devices featuring large batteries and high-performance processors. Industry observers note that the global launch for the 17 Max remains uncertain, as the term 'global' in Chinese smartphone marketing can refer to various regional rollouts.

Xiaomi 17T features 6.59-inch AMOLED display and 67W fast charging

The Xiaomi 17T features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor and includes 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM with up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The camera system consists of a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP selfie camera. It also includes 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The camera setup shares the telephoto, ultrawide, and selfie sensors with the standard 17T but utilizes a 50MP Light Fusion 950 main sensor. The device contains a 7,000mAh battery and supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Pricing for the Xiaomi 17T starts at €749 EUR (about $879) in the European Union. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is priced at €999 EUR (about $1,173) in the same region. The Xiaomi 17 Max is expected to launch in China in May 2024. A global launch date for the 17T series is rumored to be May 28, 2024, though this date is not yet confirmed by the vendor.
