UL Solutions updated its 3DMark benchmark suite to include native Windows on Arm support for ray-tracing tests. This update allows users running ARM-based PCs to measure performance without relying on emulation layers.

UL Solutions patches benchmark suite to enable direct ray-tracing tests on ARM hardware without emulation layers.

This update modifies the widely used 3DMark benchmark suite for users testing system performance. The update specifically adds native versions of two major ray-tracing benchmarks, Speed Way and Port Royal.

Users can now run these graphics-intensive tests directly on Windows on Arm hardware. The feature set covers Mesh Shader, Sampler Feedback, DirectX Raytracing, PCI Express, and VRS. These updates ensure the benchmark suite reflects modern rendering techniques on ARM processors.

The update provides a toggle between native Arm versions and x86/64 emulation versions. This comparison tool helps users evaluate performance gaps and image fidelity differences between architectures. The update enables native testing on Windows on Arm devices, including those with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

UL Solutions confirmed the release of this patch to improve testing accuracy for ARM devices. Native support now allows direct comparison between Arm versions and x86/64 emulation results within the tool.
