Xiaomi has expanded its tablet lineup with two new models, the Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro, giving buyers a choice between a lighter, more affordable device and a larger, more powerful alternative. These tablets matter because they bring high-refresh-rate screens and modern processors to the Chinese market at accessible price points. Both models ship with 3.2K LCD panels that run at 144Hz, ensuring smooth visuals for media consumption and productivity tasks.

The device runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and includes up to 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. A 13MP main camera handles rear imaging, while a 9,720mAh battery supports 45W wired charging.

Both tablets launched in China on September 14, 2026. The Pad 9 starts at 2,999 YUAN (around $447) CNY (around $447), while the Pad 9 Pro starts at 3,799 YUAN (around $566) CNY (around $566).
