Vivo has announced the Vivo Y600 Turbo smartphone for a May 25 launch in China. The device appears to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11, which launched earlier this year with similar specifications and pricing. This move suggests Vivo is expanding its portfolio by repurposing an existing design under a different brand name.

The smartphone features a large OLED display and powerful chipset for gaming enthusiasts

The phone features a large 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Rumors suggest it could be Vivo's first smartphone to support a 165Hz refresh rate, though this remains unconfirmed. Under the hood, the device may use the Dimensity 8500 chipset paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Powering the handset is a massive 9,020mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor on the rear, accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary lens and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and will be available in white and pink color options.

The device is expected to launch in China at a price point similar to its predecessor, around 2,299 Yuan (approximately $340) for the base variant. Vivo has not yet confirmed the exact RAM and storage configurations or finalized the refresh rate specification.
