Buyers in India face steeper costs for the Vivo T5 Pro as the manufacturer raises prices by up to 7,000 rupees. This increase marks the third hike since the device launched in April, significantly shifting the value proposition for potential purchasers. Shoppers comparing mid-range options must now account for these updated figures before making a decision.
Third price increase since April launch shifts value proposition
The Vivo T5 Pro remains a smartphone option in the Indian market, but its pricing structure has changed drastically. The base configuration now starts at 41,999 rupees, while the higher storage tier sits at 46,999 rupees. These figures represent a substantial jump from the initial launch rates offered earlier this year.
- 8GB + 128GB Price: ₹41,999
- 8GB + 256GB Price: ₹46,999
- Launch Price (8GB + 128GB): ₹29,999
- Launch Price (8GB + 256GB): ₹33,999
The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant has moved from 35,999 rupees to the new 41,999 rupees price point. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model has increased from 39,999 rupees to 46,999 rupees. This latest adjustment brings the base model 12,000 rupees above its original launch price of 29,999 rupees.
The higher-storage version is now 13,000 rupees more expensive than its initial launch price of 33,999 rupees. Industry analysts attribute this trend to rising costs for DRAM and NAND memory components across the sector. Despite these official hikes, the Amazon listing for the 8GB + 128GB variant still displays the older 39,999 rupee price as of this writing.
We looked at Vivo T5 Lite 5G Leaked Specs in our earlier Vivo coverage. The Vivo T5 Pro price increases reflect broader market pressures rather than product-specific changes. Consumers should verify current listing prices before purchase, as online retailers may not have updated their displays yet.
