The update resolves a reboot speaker issue on the that previously caused unwanted audio during system restarts. It also improves video memory management for discrete graphics processors to enhance overall performance. Another major fix addresses control misbehavior on the Asus ROG Ally after the device exits a suspended state. The patch ensures that hardware inputs return to normal operation following sleep cycles, which improves reliability during extended gaming sessions across supported models.

This release follows recent beta iterations including versions 3.8.5, 3.8.4, and 3.7.25 as Valve continues refining the operating system for handheld form factors. The company maintains a focus on stabilizing the software environment for both first-party and third-party gaming hardware.
