Valorant Mobile has now surpassed 10 million active, daily players in China. This milestone was reached by the free-to-play shooter developed by Riot Games and published by Tencent.
On its first day of release last August, the game attracted 170k downloads and generated $1 million in revenue. The mobile version launched exclusively in China on August 19 after more than 70 million players pre-registered their interest before the launch date.
Tencent reported that Valorant and Valorant Mobile has been attracting a combined 50 million active users every month in China alone. This is with Valorant on PC attracting a peak of 2 million players in a day in China just six months ago.
The game generated $73.4m in 2025 alone after releasing on August 19. Riot Games stated they are excited to bring Valorant Mobile to as many players as possible, but we are starting in China and taking it from there.
Riot Games will update fans as their plans develop further regarding a potential international release. There is still no news on an official global launch window for the title.
