Twelve South has released the PowerClip, a compact portable power bank designed for everyday carry. The device targets users who need a quick battery boost for smartphones and headphones while on the go. It positions itself as an emergency backup rather than a high-capacity charging solution for laptops or full phone charges.

The PowerClip features a 2,000 mAh battery capacity and supports a 5-watt charging rate. It includes dual built-in USB-C cables that allow simultaneous charging of two devices. One of these cables also serves as the input for recharging the power bank itself. The unit supports passthrough charging, enabling users to power an external device while the PowerClip recharges. Recharging the internal battery takes just under two hours.
The device includes an integrated loop and a removable zinc-alloy carabiner for attachment to bags or keychains. A set of LEDs indicates the remaining battery level during use. Twelve South offers the PowerClip in Mint, Fuchsia, Teal, Dune, and Slate color options.
