Apple is preparing a major overhaul of its high-end MacBook lineup. The MacBook Ultra is expected to launch in Q3 2026, possibly alongside the foldable iPhone Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro. Samsung will begin supplying OLED display panels in July 2026.

The MacBook Ultra will feature a touchscreen, a thinner design, and a Dynamic Island cutout replacing the notch. It will be powered by Apple's M6 Pro or M6 Max chips. The new 14.3-inch and 16.3-inch models will use a hybrid OLED display with oxide TFT and RGB tandem technology.
