Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco have confirmed that sequels to The Blood of Dawnwalker are already in the works. The franchise will span centuries, continents, and cultures across the globe.

Sequels confirmed across centuries and cultures
The Blood of Dawnwalker is a new action RPG from Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by former CD Projekt Red developers. Bandai Namco is co-publishing the title.
The first game is set in the 14th century and tells a self-contained story with no cliffhangers. Each installment in the series will be a standalone game with its own narrative, avoiding unresolved plot threads or time travel ideas.
First game launches September 3 on consoles and PC
A teaser trailer hints at a modern 21st-century setting for the overarching plot, suggesting the series will jump through different time periods. The developers plan to explore diverse cultures and continents across future games.
The Blood of Dawnwalker launches on September 3 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The release is worldwide on that date.

Rebel Wolves previously worked on The Witcher series, and this new IP marks their first major project. The studio aims to build a long-running franchise with each entry offering a fresh experience.
