Take-Two Interactive has officially reaffirmed the November 2026 release date for Grand Theft Auto VI, confirming that console players remain the core consumers for the upcoming title.
In a recent interview with Bloomberg, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that the primary goal is to deliver something that consumers have never experienced before in their gaming history.
Zelnick also noted that managing high expectations while being close to the front of the sidelines can be both exciting and terrifying for the creative teams involved in the project.
The company emphasized that its team never claims success before it occurs, relying instead on unlimited financial and creative resources to aim for perfection from the start.
According to Bloomberg, the announcement was made as part of a broader discussion about how the studio plans to handle the launch of such a significant game.
