Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has reaffirmed the release date for Grand Theft Auto 6. In a TikTok interview, he confirmed the game will launch on November 19. The date was later repeated in a separate interview with Variety.

CEO confirms date in TikTok interview

GTA 6 is being developed by Rockstar Games, the studio behind the blockbuster Grand Theft Auto series. Zelnick explained the lengthy development cycle by saying the team aims to deliver something unprecedented. "The team at Rockstar really does seek to do something that's never been done before," he told Variety. "That's really hard, and it takes a long time."

The November 19 release date applies worldwide. Take-Two's revenue last year reached $6.7 billion, and the company expects it to exceed $8 billion next year, partly driven by the GTA 6 launch.

Zelnick's confirmation puts to rest any speculation about a delay. The game remains on track for its previously announced window. Fans can mark their calendars for the fall release.
