has released a new beta client update for the . The update focuses on fixing issues with the Controller and improving the overall user experience.

Fixes crash and micro-stutter issues

The update fixes a crash related to the Steam Controller. It also resolves a micro-stutter issue with the Steam Controller gyro. A new Angle Catchup option has been added for Gyro to Joystick Camera. The update also includes a Trackpad Lockout toggle and fixes for the Grip Sense slider and its explanations.

The Legacy Steam Runtime is now available as an optional standalone download. The update improves EULA scrolling with a controller. The settings layout and styles have been updated. Friend status updates now happen faster after sleep or a network toggle. Incompatible configuration options for Steam Input have been removed. The update also fixes stuck dropdown windows in Desktop Mode.
