The Sandstone color is a visual refresh only. The headphones retain the same hardware as other models, including the QN3 processor, 30 mm drivers, and up to 30 hours of battery life.

The Sandstone variant is priced at 399 USD (about $399), matching the rest of the WH-1000XM6 range. On Amazon, the headphones are listed at 398 USD (about $398) with a $30 gift card included.

Sony now sells the WH-1000XM6 in five colors: Black, Midnight Blue, Platinum Silver, Sand Pink, and Sandstone. The new Sandstone finish is yellower in tone than the existing Platinum Silver option.
