Mega Crit released update 0.107.1 for Slay the Spire 2 on the main branch. This patch introduces full Steam Workshop mod support for the game. The update also addresses significant random number generation issues found by the community.
Patch 0.107.1 brings Steam Workshop mod support and fixes RNG issues
The developer fixed a correlation problem that caused players to receive Debt too often from Neow's Bones. Programmer Ed Lu confirmed the team identified unusual RNG patterns during community testing. The new implementation ensures these events are now evenly distributed without human-detectable correlations.
The Doormaker boss has been removed from the game and replaced by the Aeonglass boss fight. A new enemy called the Infested Prism has joined the roster. This creature taints skill cards to increase the damage players take during combat.
The patch adds a Bestiary feature to help players track creature data. Mega Crit also implemented significant adjustments to class balance and relic changes. When we covered the last slay the spire 2 update, several of the same balance and stability themes came up. The last slay the spire 2 update details are available for reference.
Update 0.107.1 is now live for all Slay the Spire 2 players. The changes aim to make the game fairer while adding modding capabilities.
