Eugen Systems has brought RUSE back to . The World War II real-time strategy game was previously delisted in December 2015. The developer said the game did not officially belong to them at the time. They could not help players who contacted them for assistance or tried to obtain the game.

The re-release includes all DLC bundled in for free. It supports multiplayer matches with two to eight players. Players can progress through three phases of World War II. The game now has full Steam Deck compatibility. Eugen Systems stated it will likely run smoother on modern machines than it did on original hardware.

Eugen Systems said they are thrilled to bring RUSE to a new generation of players and welcome back veterans. The game is a deception-focused RTS that originally launched over a decade ago. Its return marks the first time the studio has been able to publish the title directly.
