PC gamers waiting for Rizz Dungeon: Skeleton Key to My Heart will need to adjust their calendars. The romantic turn-based dungeon-crawler dating simulation has slipped from its original September 17 launch window into 2027. This shift gives the small development team more time to polish the experience without rushing the final product.
Snoozy Kazoo studio pushes PC release to avoid crunch
Developer Snoozy Kazoo made the decision to push the release date for the Steam title. The studio operates as a tiny team of five people working on this PC game. They determined that the original timeline required cutting features and Monster Girls characters to meet the deadline.
The team cited the need to avoid crunch as a primary factor in the delay. Founder and director Yukon Wainczak stated in a press release that the move allows them to add more content. He explained that they were starting to crunch to ensure the game was something they were proud of. The delay ensures the final product will be better and healthier made.
The game remains scheduled for PC via Steam in 2027. This update affects buyers who planned to play the dating sim this fall. The studio hopes the extended development time reassures players about the quality of the final release.
