Rift Raider Extraction, a mobile extraction shooter developed by a single person, has reached 1,000 downloads on Google Play.
Solo developer Brian Douglas reaches milestone
The game was created by Brian Douglas in seven weeks. Douglas previously worked on Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2. Rift Raider Extraction offers 300,000 possible loadout combinations.
Douglas released the game globally in December 2025. According to the developer, the game is built for console gamers and blends a comfortable mobile control scheme with a unique gameplay experience.
The milestone comes from a solo developer with AAA experience. Douglas said the project came together naturally and felt right from the first week. Insider Gaming reported the news.
