Niantic has partnered with The LEGO Group to launch an official collaboration event for the mobile game Pokemon Go. This cross-brand initiative allows players to connect physical retail experiences with in-game progression mechanics. The partnership aims to drive foot traffic to LEGO stores while offering exclusive digital rewards.

Cross-brand initiative brings physical rewards to mobile gameplay

The event is scheduled to run from August 3 through September 30, though reports cite the year as 2026 which may reflect a data entry error. Participants can visit designated physical locations in select countries to access these features. The campaign targets regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, France, Germany, and Australia.

Visitors to participating LEGO stores will find dedicated 'Trainer Centers' inside the retail spaces. These centers host frequent One-Star Pikachu Raids that players can join directly on their devices. Completing these raids contributes to a broader Stamp Rally activity within the game app.

The collaboration offers several exclusive physical and digital rewards for active participants. Players who complete the associated Timed Research tasks receive a special SMART Play Tag, themed stickers, and unique stamps. These items serve as tangible reminders of the in-game achievements unlocked during the event window.
