MagpieLabs analysis reveals in-game clock gaps

Werster, known for top-tier Pokemon speedruns, claimed a 217-0 offline record in the Battle Factory. MagpieLabs examined the in-game clock visible during streams and spotted gaps that do not match legitimate play. The investigation argues these gaps rule out luck as an explanation.

The statistical odds of Werster's claimed 217-0 offline record are estimated between 1-in-129 million and 1-in-1.5 trillion. MagpieLabs stated, "The whole case rests on something hiding in plain sight: the in-game clock." The analysis stops short of absolute proof but presents strong circumstantial evidence.

Werster has not publicly responded to the accusations. The speedrunning community is closely monitoring the situation as the controversy develops. Neither nor any tournament organizers have taken official action.
