Capcom warns demo performance may not reflect full game release

Capcom developed Onimusha: Way of the Sword for release on multiple platforms. The title is priced at $69.99 for global purchase. Players can pre-purchase the game now to secure their copy before the September 25th release date.

The demo runs on default settings that prioritize low visual quality to maintain frame rates. It utilizes FSR Performance upscaling to help the Steam Deck hit the 40 to 50 FPS target. The game engine handles the action without significant stuttering during the test run.

Capcom officially warned that the demo does not reflect the performance of the full game. The studio described the demo as a heavily optimized slice designed for benchmarking. A dedicated PC benchmarking tool will be released in the future to provide more accurate performance data.
