Nintendo Switch 2 Sales Reach 19.86 Million Units in First Fiscal Year

Nintendo has reported strong sales for the Switch 2 in its first full fiscal year. The console sold 19.86 million units globally during FY26.

Software sales and active users also surge

Software sales for the Switch 2 reached 48.71 million units in the same period. Annual active users surpassed 100 million.

The Switch 2's first full fiscal year sales were higher than those of the original Nintendo Switch. Nintendo also announced a price increase for all products and services.

The sales figures come from Nintendo's financial results, as reported by Insider Gaming. The company has not commented on future production plans.
