has added five Virtual Boy games to the Online + Expansion Pack library. The new titles are V-Tetris, Jack Bros., Space Invaders Virtual Collection, Virtual Bowling, and Vertical Force. In Japan, a sixth game, Virtual Fishing, is also available.

New titles include V-Tetris and Jack Bros.

With this update, a total of 12 Virtual Boy games are now playable in the West. Nintendo has confirmed that 16 Virtual Boy games are planned for the service, including Mario Clash and Mario's Tennis. Users are still waiting for previously unreleased games Zero Racer and D-Hopper.

To play these games, a physical Virtual Boy accessory is required. The accessory costs 100 USD (about $100) in the US and 67 GBP (about $90.69) in the UK. A cardboard viewer is available as a cheaper alternative for 25 USD (about $25.00) in the US and 17 GBP (about $23.01) in the UK.

Only 22 games were released for the Virtual Boy during its lifetime. Nintendo plans to make the majority of them available once the remaining nine are released. Some games are unlikely to appear due to licensed IPs, including Nester's Funky Bowling, Panic Bomber, SD Gundam Dimension War, Space Squash, Virtual Fighting, Virtual Lab, Virtual League Baseball, and Waterworld.

Video Games Chronicle reported the update. Nintendo has not commented on when the remaining Virtual Boy games will be added.
