Nex has announced pre-orders for the Nex Playground console in the UK and Ireland starting May 18, 2026. The console is scheduled to launch widely in late June 2026.
Pre-orders open at multiple retailers
The Nex Playground costs 269 GBP (about $358) in the UK and 319 EUR (about $371) in Ireland. It comes with five free starter games. An annual Play Pass subscription is available for 90 GBP (about $120) in the UK or 99 EUR (about $115) in Ireland. A quarterly subscription costs 45 GBP (about $59.95) in the UK or 49 EUR (about $56.94) in Ireland.
Pre-orders are available through Amazon UK, Argos, Smyths Toys, and TikTok Shop.
Tom Kang, President and Head of International of Nex, said that 2026 is a defining moment for Nex as it takes a big leap onto the global stage. The company has not confirmed further details about the console's specifications or additional launch regions.
