Underdog has announced that its upcoming sequel, ZERO Sievert 2, has reached 100,000 wishlists on Steam within two weeks of its initial reveal in May 2024. The title is a post-apocalyptic PvE extraction shooter that builds upon the foundation of the original 2022 release. Solo developer Luca Carbonara, operating under the studio name CABO Studio, created the first game, which Modern Wolf published.
Post-apocalyptic shooter sequel reaches major milestone quickly
The sequel introduces cooperative multiplayer support alongside a refreshed visual style using a pixel art palette. Players will explore a more dynamic and open world map set in the fictional region of Zakov. The narrative takes place several years after the events of the first game. All weapons from the original title will return to the sequel.
ZERO Sievert 2 features in-depth skill paths, enhanced weapon customization, and updated base-building mechanics. The developers designed the game with modding support from the start. The primary platform for launch is PC via Steam. The team has stated plans to port the game to consoles and ensure smooth performance on Steam Deck in the future.
The console port remains a long-term goal rather than a confirmed release. The developers have not provided a specific launch window for the sequel or the console versions. Underdog has not confirmed the exact release date for ZERO Sievert 2.
