Perfect World Games is rolling out Version 1.2 of Neverness to Everness on July 29, 2026. This update matters to players because it introduces a new limited banner for a dedicated healer character alongside fresh gameplay modes. The "999 Nights" patch brings structural changes to character acquisition and adds a new tabletop-inspired experience.
New S-Class support character and tabletop mode arrive July 29
The centerpiece of this release is Iroi, an S-Class Anima hybrid support character. Players can pull for Iroi on her limited banner titled "The Lifeline." This banner runs from July 29 through August 19, replacing the current Shinku banner which ends with maintenance on the launch date.
Iroi joins the roster as the first dedicated limited S-Class healer in the game. The gacha system for her banner features a 90-pull hard pity cap and removes the traditional 50/50 mechanic. This configuration guarantees that players will obtain the character within 90 pulls without risk of receiving a standard unit instead.
Beyond the character banner, the update introduces the 999 Nights mode, which draws inspiration from tabletop games. Players will also gain access to a new Draco motorcycle for in-game travel. These additions expand both the social and mobility aspects of the game world.
We looked at the last Neverness to Everness update when several of the same balance and stability themes came up. Version 1.3 is already teased for late August and will feature the character Zankou and Linko. Players should prepare for the next wave of content shortly after this patch concludes.
