Microsoft has released a new Surface Laptop 13-inch for Business. The device features an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor from the Panther Lake platform.
Brighter display and more RAM
The laptop has a 13-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels and 60 Hz refresh rate. Brightness has been increased to 500 nits, a 25 percent improvement over the previous model. It can be configured with up to 24 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The battery capacity remains at 50 Wh, with an estimated battery life of 14 hours of active web usage.

Pricing starts at 1499 USD (about $1,499) in the US for a model with 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. A configuration with 24 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD is available for 2249.99 USD (about $2,250). The device is available now in the US.
According to Notebookcheck benchmarks, the Core Ultra 5 325 outperforms the Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 by a wide margin, and the gap between their integrated GPUs is expected to be even larger.

Microsoft has not confirmed the launch window for other regions.
