BioWare reorganizes staff for next entry after director's departure
Taking to social media, director Michael Gamble expressed his relief of no longer having to feign illness for the other game in development – GTA 6. Gamble expressed his gratitude towards the community for continuing to support BioWare and their storied legacy. As well as the immense talent still within the studio. Gamble stresses how the core team of veterans is still strong and continue to support the franchise.
The firing of Gamble represents a huge shift in leadership on Mass Effect 5 going forward without their director. Gamble is on the lookout for new employment options for himself and his former team. If any fans hear of relevant roles that may be a fit, they're encouraged to bring it to his attention.
BioWare are still working on Mass Effect 5 in spite of losing the director. The central team of veterans still remains in place as they aim for their release date in 2026. Unfortunately, the absence of Gamble as their director means there's no longer any of the previous leadership on the project in this crucial development period.
