Arkane Lyon previously created Dishonored and Deathloop before shifting to this mature action title. Financial reports confirmed that full production on Marvel's Blade only began in late 2024. A potential release window sits around 2027, though some analysts expect a later date.
The closure of Arkane Austin in May 2024 cast uncertainty over the Lyon branch. Game director Dinga Bakaba posted updates in December 2025 stating that the team remains hard at work. Grubb also mentioned that an Iron Man game might still be in development during the same stream.
