NetEase released a minor patch for Marvel Rivals on August 20, bringing stability fixes and new cosmetic options to players. This update addresses specific animation and movement bugs that could disrupt gameplay, ensuring smoother sessions for those using Loki and Hela. The changes matter because they resolve visual glitches and character stalling issues that frustrated users in previous matches.
NetEase releases minor patch with new store bundles and stability fixes
The update, version 1.000.104/1.69, targets console and PC gamers globally. It introduces three new store bundles featuring Cyclops, Phoenix, and Daredevil. These cosmetic items allow players to customize their heroes with distinct visual themes. The bundles appear in the in-game shop starting August 21, 2026.
Patch notes highlight two key technical fixes for character abilities. The Loki update corrects a bug where Lady Loki’s lower-body animations contorted during the Hela Team-Up Ability. The Hela fix addresses an issue where the character could become paralyzed after casting Astral Flock in Thoth’s Wrath zones on Wakanda maps. These adjustments restore intended movement and visual fidelity for these specific hero interactions.
We looked at the last Marvel Rivals update earlier while tracking balance changes, noting that stability improvements remain a priority for the developers. NetEase has not announced major new content releases following this patch. Players should expect a quiet period until the arrival of Season 10, which will bring larger-scale updates.
The patch is now live for all platforms. New store items will remain available until September 18, 2026. Users can apply these fixes immediately to enjoy bug-free gameplay with their favorite Marvel characters.
